You are invited to an Open House for the Chevra Kadisha property
Brookfield Residential would like to extend an invitation to you to attend an open house on April 3, 2014 from 7 – 9 PM at the Bankview Community Hall (2418-17th Street SW) to discuss the proposed plans for the redevelopment of the former Chevra Kadisha property at 1702, 1714-17th Ave SW.

Engagement with community members is a key component of our process. Over the past year, we have been meeting with the Scarboro Community Association board and its planning committee to keep them up-to-date with our vision and plan for the property. In December 2013 and January of this year, we hosted two workshops with the adjacent neighbours to present information on the land use application (LOC2013-0094) for the property and to gather feedback on the initial building concept.

Now, we are pleased to invite the entire community to this upcoming open house to share the current building concept and the proposed Direct Control District based on the feedback that we have received. We will also be discussing next steps in our desire to build a high quality, thoughtfully-designed building that we hope will be a welcome addition to Scarboro.
Your participation and feedback will be highly appreciated. Look for an invitation in your mailbox in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Andrew Palmiere at Andrew.palmiere@o2design.com. You can also find more information on the land use amendment application at www.calgary.ca/scarboro
