Online Registration will open on February 21 until March 7, 2018


2018 Outdoor Season  

Scarboro Community Soccer is a volunteer based program that is dependent on the volunteer participation of our families.  The success of our program is reliant on your support.

 We encourage any child regardless of skill or experience to come out to play and have some fun. Our goal is to get as many children involved at all levels from U4 – U12.

We look forward to a successful and fun filled 2018 Season!

 

Important Dates

*U4-U8 soccer program commences on Wednesday April 25 and runs until Wednesday June 20, 2018 at the Sunalta School Field

*U10 soccer program commences on Monday April 23 and runs until Wednesday June 20, 2018.  A mini fun tournament will be held on June 23, 2018.

*U12 soccer program – TBA (season commences in late April and runs until the first week of July)

*Team rosters will be distributed on Saturday April 14, 2018

*Equipment/Uniform Pick-up for all Coaches - Sunday April 15, 2018 6pm-7pm (Scarboro Community Hall)

*Coaching Clinic U4 - Sunday April 22, 2018 11am-12pm

*Coaching Clinic U6-U8 - Sunday April 22, 2018 12pm-1:30pm

*Coaching Clinic U10-U12 - Sunday April 22, 2018 1:30pm-3pm

Fees

U4 Mixed House League (Born 2014/2015) - $50 (includes T-Shirt)

U6 Mixed House League (Born 2012/2013) - $50 (includes T-Shirt)

U8 Mixed House League (Born 2010/2011) - $50 (includes T-Shirt)

U10 Boys & Girls South West Soccer League (Born 2008/2009) - $125 (includes socks & shorts, jerseys will be supplied)

U12 Boys & Girls Calgary Minor Soccer League (Born 2006/2007) - $200 (includes socks & shorts, jerseys will be supplied)

Program Information

U4/U6 (mixed teams) – all practices/games will be played on Wednesday evenings at the Sunalta School field from 6pm to 7 pm.  Teams play 3 on 3.

U8 (mixed teams) -  all practices/games will be played on Wednesday evenings at the Sunalta School field from 6pm to 7pm.  Teams play 3 on 3. During the game shifts, we would like to encourage girls vs. girls/boys vs. boys within the U8 league (if possible).

U10 teams - will play in the South West Soccer League (SWSL).  The SWSL is comprised of teams from Scarboro, Glamorgan, Calglen, Westhills United and Westsprings.  All home games are played at the Sunalta School field and the away games are played in the west end of the city (farthest travel distance is the Cougar Ridge field).  U10’s play 7 on 7. 

U10 Boys - Games and practices will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm (times are tentative). Technical sessions (PASS) will be offered to the players bi-weekly.

U10 Girls – Games and practices will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 8pm (times are tentative). Technical sessions (PASS) will be offered to the players bi-weekly.

Please Note: If you are 1st year U10 or new to the club,  please submit Proof of Age documentation to scarborocommunitysoccer@gmail.com by March 20, 2018.

U12 (boy & girl teams) - will play with Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA).  Practices and games are announced at a later date.  Typically there will be one game/one practice per week. Technical sessions (PASS) will be offered to the player’s bi-weekly. U12's play 8 on 8.

Please Note: If you are U12 and don't have a CMSA card or haven't previously submitted Proof of Age documentation to scarborocommunitysoccer@gmail.com. Please do so by March 20, 2018.

U12 players are required to have a CMSA ID card.  If you do not have an ID card, we will provide you with an ID number at a later date.  You will then be required to book an appointment with CMSA (www. calgaryminorsoccer.com) to have your child’s photo and card issued. 

  

Refunds

 Request for refunds must be made by emailing scarborocommunitysoccer@gmail.com

Refund requests made prior to March 20, 2018 will be made in full.

After this period is up, the following polices are in place:

Refunds requested prior to April 1, 2018 will be subject to a $25 administration fee.

No refunds will be issued after April 1, 2018.

 

Rainout Policy

U4-U8 - Any cancellations due to inclement weather will be posted on this page by 5pm the night of the game however any sign of thunder or lightning there will be absolutely no soccer.

U10 - TBD by Team Manager

U12 - TBD by Team Manager

 

If you are not a member of the Scarboro Community Association (SCA) you will be required to purchase a  family membership ($40) in order for you child to play community soccer. If you do not have a membership, please click the “join” tab at the top of the SCA main page.  A membership is needed to begin the soccer registration process.

 

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

    If you have already paid your 2018 membership, please note you must register with the email address associated with your paid membership.  The email address you use to login to the website is the email address associated with your membership.

After registering a child, click Add to Cart to confirm registration

To register an additional child, after clicking Add to Cart, scroll to the bottom and click New Registration

  When you finish registering all your children, click on the Balance Due link at the bottom of the page to pay all invoices at one.
